Odoo Djinni Integration

Integrating Djinni into Odoo requires the following steps:

  Obtain an API key (if you prefer this authorization type)

  Create an account in Odoo

  Synchronize the account with Djinni

Getting an API Key

Before setting up Odoo, obtain an API key for integration in your Djinni account. Go to the API tab, click Get API Key, and copy the generated value.

Creating an Account

To create a new Djinni account in Odoo, go to Recruitment — Configuration — Djinni — Accounts and click New.

Fill out the form:

  Depending on the selected authorization type, enter your Password or API Key

  If you do not need to import hidden job positions, enable the Only Active Vacancies option on the Options tab

Next, click Synchronization to perform the initial data sync with Djinni. Odoo scheduled actions will handle future synchronizations automatically.

Automatic Synchronization

The module automatically retrieves catalogs, job positions, and job applications from Djinni. Odoo scheduled actions synchronize this data at defined intervals.

The list of scheduled actions is located in Settings — Technical — Automation — Scheduled Actions and is accessible only in Developer Mode.

You can adjust the synchronization interval for each scheduled action or trigger a manual sync.

Synchronization Settings

The module adds an UA Service Integration section to the recruitment settings. This section is shared across other recruitment integration modules by Garazd Creation, such as Work.ua and Robota.UA.

The following options are available for Djinni:

• Upload only active vacancies from Djinni — whether to synchronize active job positions only or include inactive ones as well
• Deactivate Vacancy on Djinni — whether to deactivate job positions on Djinni after archiving them in Odoo
• Delete Vacancy on Djinni — whether to remove job positions from Djinni after deleting them in Odoo

The Upload only active vacancies from Djinni option in general settings has lower priority than the Only Active Vacancies option on the account level.

After account synchronization, the module creates job positions in Odoo and fills them with Djinni data.

The module allows you to perform the following actions with job positions:

• Publish job positions directly from Odoo
• Edit job position details
• Manage job position visibility (active/inactive)
• Link an existing Odoo job position to a Djinni posting
• Delete job positions

Publishing a Job Position

To publish a job position on Djinni.co from Odoo, complete the following steps.

Create a new job position in Odoo or open an existing one, then select the Sync with Djinni action.

On the Options tab, fill in the About Vacancy, Expectations & Requirements, Salary, and Working Conditions sections as needed.

To publish the job position immediately after filling in the details, enable the Active option under the Posting section.

Add a job description on the corresponding tab using HTML formatting if desired.

On the Quiz tab, you can add questions for applicants.

The list of added screening questions for applicants is available in the Recruitment — Configuration — Djinni — Quizzes menu.

Once all required information is entered, click Create to publish the job position on djinni.co.

To view the published listing, click Open on Djinni.

Editing a Job Position

To update job position information, go to the Djinni tab and click Edit.

After making your changes, click Sync to update the listing on Djinni.

Job Position Visibility

Control job position visibility on Djinni using the Active option under the Posting section while editing.

• To publish an inactive job position on Djinni, enable Active
• To hide a published job position on Djinni, disable Active or archive the job position in Odoo

Linking a Job Position to Djinni

To avoid duplicate job positions, you can link existing listings in Odoo with matching postings on djinni.co. Open the target job position and select the Link with Djinni action.

In the pop-up window:

  Click Set and Sync all Jobs or Set to link without synchronizing

Deleting a Job Position

To remove a job position, select the Delete action.

If you enabled Delete Vacancy on Djinni in recruitment settings, deleting the job position in Odoo will also delete it from djinni.co.

For Djinni job positions, the module imports job applications complete with full applicant profiles and attached resume files.

To view the list of applicant submissions, open a job position and click the Applications button at the top of the page.

To view an applicant's response directly on Djinni, open their job application and click Open on Djinni.
