What is the Brevo Tracker

Brevo Tracker is a JS snippet that is added to all pages of your website to track and monitor visitors' activity.

This module implements the base tracking of the Page View event. To get an extended functionality, such as identifying of your website visitors, and custom event tracking for your Odoo e-Commerce, consider using the app.

Встановлення модуля Odoo

Завантаження модулів

Завантажте модулі з ZIP архіву на ваш сервер, де встановлена Odoo, або в GitHub репозиторій підключений до нього.

Розмістить розархівовані модулі у директорії з кастомними модулями та перезапустить системний сервіс Odoo.

Оновить список модулів

Після перезавантаження активуйте Режим розробника, та перейдіть до меню Додатки.

Натисніть на Оновити список додатків, щоб підтягнути нові модулі до списку.

Інсталяція модуля

Знайдіть модуль за його іменем та натисніть на Активувати, щоб інсталювати його.

Getting the Brevo Tracking Code

Firstly, open your Brevo.com account and in the "Automations" - "Settings" menu choose the "Tracking Code" option.

Choose the "JS Tracker" installation option , and from the step 2, copy the client_key parameter value.

Further steps should be performed on Odoo side. After installing the module, open the "Website" menu, then "Configuration" - "Settings" and activate the "Brevo Tracker" option.

Insert your Brevo Client Key and save changes.

Testing

Testing Particularities

As the Brevo Tracker script should not fire for Odoo internal users, there are several testing tips:

You will not see the Brevo Tracker JS script if you are logged in to Odoo and you have internal user's access rights.
Log out from the system, or use the incognito mode, or other browser, to test the Brevo.com JS implementation.

Verifying

To ensure that the Brevo tracker is added properly, go to your Brevo.com account and in the "Tracking Code" setting, click on Verify.

You need to visit your Odoo website, at least once, before this verification.

Event tracking monitoring

Tracking events are shown on the Brevo side in the Automations - Logs. Monitor your Odoo website tracking by the TikTok Pixel Events Manager to get analytics and get informed about performance and issues.
