Product Configuration
The Pro version of the Facebook Catalog module adds a variety of product-level settings. These settings are located in the product card on the Data Feeds and Extra tabs, which are shared across all product data feed modules developed by Garazd Creation.
Data Feeds Tab
On the Data Feeds tab, Facebook-related settings are located in the section with the same name.
In the Optional section, you can specify the target Age Group for the product:
- All Ages
- Adult
- Teen
- Kids
- Infant
- Newborn
The Disabled Capabilities field in the Visibility section allows you to select channels where this product should be hidden:
- Shops on Facebook or Instagram
- Marketplace
- Product tagging on Instagram
- Advantage+ catalog ads (formerly known as dynamic ads)
To add a product description in HTML format for the Facebook catalog, use the Facebook HTML Description section.
Extra Tab
The Extra tab allows you to enrich the product with details such as characteristics, custom labels, custom numbers, and other specific metrics to share via the data feed.
In the Characteristics section, you can specify:
- Size System — regional size system
- Size — product size
- Product Sizes — length, width, and height of the product in centimeters or inches
- Color — product color
- Material — product material
- Pattern — product pattern or design
- Gender — target gender for the product (Unisex, Female, or Male)
If a product has an expiration date, specify this date in the Additional section.
The module allows you to add up to five promotional text values and up to five numerical values for filtering or grouping products into sets. To add such values, use the Features section.
Shipping Settings
The Pro version of the module allows you to specify shipping costs both globally for all products and individually for each product.
To specify the shipping cost for all products, open the feed settings and fill in the Shipping Costs field in the Shipping section.
If you need to specify a different shipping cost for a specific product, open the product on the Data Feeds tab and fill in the Shipping section.
