Integration with external systems, on the one hand, is a process that allows you to get rid of some of the manual work. On the other hand, the implementation of integration can be quite complex and take time.
If you are already using Odoo and going to connect your it to the Rozetka marketplace, the Odoo solution described in this article allows you to do it with a minimum of time and effort.
XML feed setup
Make sure that the Odoo Rozetka XML Feeds module is installed on your system. Go to the menu "Website" — "E-commerce" — "Products" — "Data feeds". The solution comes with one ready-made XML feed for the Rozetka marketplace.
Let's start by connecting the feed to the Rozetka API. Enter your login and password from your Rozetka merchant account, and then start the synchronization process. Upon connection, a token will be received and the Rozetki product category directory will be synchronized. In the future, the synchronization of directories will occur automatically once a day.
You can view the Rozetka product categories by going to the menu "Website" — "Settings" — "Rozetka" — "Categories".
Product Filter
The next step is to customize the list of products that should be included in this XML file.
To do this, we use the standard Odoo domain, which allows you to select only the required products by plenty parameters. Click on “Edit Domain” and specify the conditions to filter your products. For example, let's include in the feed only storable products.
Pricelist Setup
Now we specify pricelists that will be used to determine prices. Open the "Settings" tab and select the regular pricelist, then the Sales pricelist. Additionally, you can specify a price list for products that can be included in the Rozetka promotions. For more information on how to add products to Rozetka's promotional emails, click the link. If you use pricelists with a foreign currency, please specify the exchange rate at which the conversion to UAH will be made on the Rozetka side.
Product Settings
The next step is to prepare the products for the Rozetka XML feed. Go to the product list, choose one of them, and on the “Data feeds” tab, select a Rozetka product category to which you want to include the product. Next, synchronize the characteristics of the selected category, if the synchronization procedure has not been performed yet.
After updating the Rozetka characteristics, click on "Add characteristics" and set the necessary ones.
Additionally, you need to specify the name and description for the product to use on the marketplace side. As these parameters are mandatory and must meet the Rozetka requirements. Detailed information on the requirements can be found by these links .
These settings are enough to proceed to the final step - verifying the XML file and sending the feed URL to Rozetka.
Feed Check
For a visual check, you can view the feed XML file by clicking the Download button.
Go back to the feed and copy the feed URL.
It is advisable to check the correctness of the data in the XML file before sending it to the Rozetka manager. To do this, go to the Rozetka seller portal and select “Validator” in the “Manage products” menu. Paste the link to the feed and click on “Validate”. The verification may take some time, usually a few minutes. After the validation is completed, view the detailed report, in case of errors, you will be provided with information about them.
After successfully checking the feed file in the validator, send the feed URL to your manager in Rozetka to activate it and place your products on the marketplace.
