Odoo App Installation
Upload modules
Upload modules from the ZIP archive to your Odoo hosting, or a GitHub repository connected there.
Place the unzipped modules in your custom add-on directory and restart the Odoo system service.
Update App List
After restarting, activate the Developer Mode, and go to the Apps menu.
Click on Update Apps List to fetch the new modules in the list.
Activate the App
Install the new module, finding it by name and clicking on the Activate button.
* If you don't see the module, try to remove the default Apps filter from the search bar.

Follow the instructions in the module description to complete the installation process and start using the app.

Configuration
You can enable task numbering for projects using the Task Codes option on the Settings tab of the project form.
Then, enter the prefix to use for tasks in this project.
Next, add a new task sequence by clicking the Add button.
Usage
The module allows you to number tasks automatically or manually from the task form or list view.
Automatic Task Numbering
After enabling the Task Codes option for a project, all new tasks in this project get a unique code.
Manual Task Code Assignment
If you have tasks created before enabling task codes, you can assign a code to them using the Generate Code action.
The code will use the next number in the sequence.

This section shows how to find project tasks by code and where task codes appear.

Task codes appear in the main project task views:
- On the task form
- In the list view
- In the Kanban view
Search
You can search for tasks by code in all task-related views and fields.
