Overview

Odoo App Installation
Upload modules
Upload modules from the ZIP archive to your Odoo hosting, or a GitHub repository connected there.
Place the unzipped modules in your custom add-on directory and restart the Odoo system service.
Update App List
After restarting, activate the Developer Mode, and go to the Apps menu.
Click on Update Apps List to fetch the new modules in the list.
Activate the App
Install the new module, finding it by name and clicking on the Activate button.
* If you don't see the module, try to remove the default Apps filter from the search bar.

Follow the instructions in the module description to complete the installation process and start using the app.

How to Get a Tracking ID
Before adding the script to your website, first obtain the Tracking ID. To do this, complete the following steps:

01Sign in to your Contentsquare account

02Open the Get Started menu

03Copy the Tracking ID from the Tag Installation step
Tracking Activation
After installing the module, activate tracking by completing the following steps:

01Open the website settings

02Enable the Contentsquare/Hotjar Tracking option in the Tracking and SEO section

03Paste the copied Tracking ID

04Save the settings
After that, the module automatically adds the Contentsquare script to all pages of the Odoo website.
Testing
To verify the Contentsquare tracking script integration, click the Verify Installation button on the same Tag Installation step:
In the window, insert your Odoo website URL and click Verify Installation again:
If configured correctly, a successful installation message appears after the verification.
