Odoo App Installation
Upload modules
Upload modules from the ZIP archive to your Odoo hosting, or a GitHub repository connected there.
Place the unzipped modules in your custom add-on directory and restart the Odoo system service.
Update App List
After restarting, activate the Developer Mode, and go to the Apps menu.
Click on Update Apps List to fetch the new modules in the list.
Activate the App
Install the new module, finding it by name and clicking on the Activate button.
* If you don't see the module, try to remove the default Apps filter from the search bar.
Configuration
Follow the instructions in the module description to complete the installation process and start using the app.

Obtaining the Tracking Code
Before adding the JS script to your website, first obtain the tracking code. To do this, complete the following steps.

01Log in to your Crazy Egg account.

02If you haven't added your website yet, create a new one.

03Open your sites list and click Install Crazy Egg.

04Click I can install the tracking script myself.

05Copy the unique code that is after
scripts/and before the dot.
Tracking Activation
After installing the module, activate tracking by completing the following steps:

01Open the website settings

02Enable the Crazy Egg Tracking option in the Tracking and SEO section

03Paste the copied Tracking Code

04Save the settings
After that, the module automatically adds the Crazy Egg script to all pages of the Odoo website.
Testing
To test the Crazy Egg Tracking Code integration, use the Check URL option. This check is available in the step after the one where you copied the tracking code. Alternatively, you can navigate to Site Settings and open the Check Installation tab.
Paste your Odoo website URL and click Check URL.
Wait for the verification to complete and display the result message.
