Module Features
Configuration
To configure, follow these steps:
- Go to the Website - Configuration - Websites menu.
- Choose a website.
- In the section Cookies Alert make necessary changes.
- Save the changes.
On the website the cookies alert will be shown as the following:
Customization
To change the alert text and the URL:
- Change the welcome message, that text will be shown as bold.
- Change the alert message.
- Specify a text of the link.
- Select the page with your Privacy Policy terms and conditions.
Changes on the website:
To change the alert text color and background:
- Change the text color by clicking on the color box at the right of the input field and activate the toggle.
- Change the background color the same way.
Changes on the website:
To set the background image:
- Activate the toggle at the background image field (the background color toggle will be deactivated).
- Upload the background image.
Changes on the website:
To set the button text and color:
- Change the button text.
- Activate the toggle and choose the button color.
Changes on the website:
Translations
To translate the alert texts:
- Activate the edit mode then click on EN (in the right of the field).
- Translate the alert message.
If a visitor change the website language, he will see the cookies alert on the selected language:
